Why Do I Exist? ①

We've covered the 'where' and 'when' of the imaginary self, so

this time, we can investigate it from the 'why' perspective.

The question here is ...

Why can you say that you exist?

Sit quietly, with your back straight,

and inquire into the above question.

...

One of the possible answers could be:

"Because I am alive."

Are you sure?

Are YOU alive?

What is living life?

Inquire ...

Keep your body quiet.

Notice that the organs function without your controlling it.

See that breathing, heartbeat, without which human life 
can't be possible, happen totally devoid of your will.

So, what controls the organs?  What controls life?

Is there anything separate from Life that controls it?

If so, what is it?  Where is it? 

Can you find it?
